I’ve been a subscriber to Birchbox for a few months now, and honestly, I couldn’t recommend it enough.
If you don’t know – Birchbox is a monthly package of beauty products. It’s honestly as simple as that. You pay around £11 a month for a lovely little box to come to your door filled with 5 or 6 different products. Now, they are mostly mini products and you do run the risk of receiving things you won’t want as it’s a pretty standard selection sent out to everyone each month. But you are asked to input some basic details about yourself (skin type, hair type etc), and Birchbox do take that into consideration.
I’m not massively into experimenting with new beauty products – I’ve found a selection that I like and I tend to stick with those, so Birchbox is a great way for me to experiment with new things.
July’s Birchbox showed up at my house yesterday, and after a pretty crap week, it really brightened my day. Its gorgeous palm tree cover is perfect for this heat wave we’ve been having lately, and it was filled with pieces that I would never go out and buy, but I’m really excited to try out.
